April 25, 2008 --casa y HOGAR® was the recipient of four Jose Marti Publishing Awards at the 23rd Annual National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP) Convention & Expo held in Atlanta on April 18. Four Golden awards highlight HOGAR’s outstanding design and editorial staff for works created in 2007.
casa y HOGAR® was honored with Golden Awards in the following categories: a General Excellence award for Outstanding Glossy Magazine, a Design award for Best Design (magazine format), an Outstanding award for Outstanding Health Section, and a Marketing award for Outstanding Media Kit. “Since the launch of our magazine in 2005 our team of experts in home design and home decoration, guided by our gifted chief editor Cristina Mella, have brought their journalistic expertise and cultural sensitivity to create, issue after issue, one of the best home magazines in the country.
